If an application does not pass certain components of the Application Evaluation, the applicant may request to remove or update relevant application elements using the Application Change Request process. Alternatively, the applicant may request to enter Extended Evaluation or file a challenge for certain components of the Application Evaluation. If an application does not pass the Name Collision High Risk Mitigation Plan Evaluation and, in some cases, the Registry Commitments Evaluation (RCE), the application will be unable to proceed in the New gTLD Program.
