Criterion 1: Documentation for Meaning or Intended Meaning of the String
An applicant seeking one or more allocatable variant strings that do not match a word in a dictionary should provide other evidence from the relevant language community, for example a letter from the relevant language organization, clearly stating why the word does not exist in the dictionary or why the dictionary is not published, and the meaning of the word in that language. The applicant must provide examples of use of the word in multiple published texts by different authors, with references, to support the applicant's assertion of use of the word.
