Each applicant is encouraged to select an ICANN-approved RSP before submitting an application, but this is not mandatory. Applicants may either identify ICANN-approved RSPs during application submission or finalize their selections later, as long as RSPs are identified before the Application Evaluation stage begins. Early selection of RSPs is recommended because applicants often collaborate with their RSPs to complete technical portions of the application.
