The Applicant Support Program statistics represent the total number of applicants that have started the application process to-date. The tables below show total applicant distribution throughout the stages of the application process and by region. Based on feedback from the ICANN Community to provide more sophisticated reporting, in August 2025 ICANN org began designating ASP applications with more than 90 days of inactivity as "inactive". This is to provide a more accurate view of "active" applications demonstrating ongoing interest or intent to apply.
