If an applied-for .Brand TLD is in contention with other applied-for strings (i.e., strings that are the same or confusingly similar to each other), the applicant is allowed to request to change its applied-for .Brand TLD string. This process is unique for .Brand TLD applications to resolve contention and is distinct from the Replacement String process, which is available to all applicants.
