If the applicant fails to meet any of the criteria for a specific applied-for variant string, that string will not proceed to the next stage of the application process. The applicant must withdraw it through an Application Change Request before the rest of the application can continue. Alternatively, the applicant may request Extended Evaluation, which provides additional time to address any information deficiencies. Evaluation of one variant string does not impact other variant strings or the primary string in that application.
