If all criteria are satisfied, an exemption to the Registry Operator Code of Conduct will be granted, and Specification 9 will be removed from the Registry Agreement if the applied-for string proceeds to contracting. If the application does not meet the criteria, the application can continue under the standard rules with Specification 9 remaining in effect.
