Criterion 1: Documentation for Meaning or Intended Meaning of the String
An applicant seeking one or more allocatable variant strings that represent proper names or morphological forms not typically in dictionaries should provide the following information with their application:
- The motivation for using such a variant string (e.g., proper name for .brand gTLDs).
- Evidence that the variant string is used in the language with the intended meaning (e.g., through evidence of frequency of use from a corpus of the language in a certain context, list of names in a language, or other relevant evidence, from referenceable source(s)).
