If ICANN does not receive a Singular/Plural Notification, applied-for strings that are singular and plural forms of each other will proceed without being placed in a contention set. Similarly, an application for a string that is the singular or plural form of an existing gTLD, a string being processed from a prior application round, or a Blocked Name will proceed unless a Singular/Plural Notification is received and verified by ICANN.
