Only .Brand TLD applicants whose applications are in contention can submit a .Brand String Change Request. ICANN will conduct the .Brand TLD Eligibility Evaluation following a request for a .Brand String Change.
A .Brand TLD applicant has 30 calendar days to submit its request following any of these events:
- ICANN publishes the list of contention sets after String Similarity Evaluation;
- A relevant determination on a String Confusion Objection is issued; or
- A determination on an appeal of a String Confusion Objection outcome, which concerns the applied-for .Brand TLD string, is issued.
