The Singular/Plural Notifications Evaluation is designed to ensure that gTLD strings that differ only by being singular or plural forms of the same word in the same language do not cause confusion for Internet users. ICANN reviews submitted materials for the Singular/Plural Notification to determine whether certain applied-for strings represent singular and plural versions of the same word in the same language. ICANN may independently verify the source material.
