The draw is a live event. An application that is entered into the draw is represented by a physical paper ticket. Tickets are manually drawn and assigned Priority Numbers. Applications are drawn in groups of 500 until all participating applications receive a number. Internationalized Domain Name (IDN) applications are prioritized under specific rules. Applicants cannot attend in person but may follow the event virtually.
