A list of contention sets is published to the Application Publication and Statistics (APS) website on Reveal Day and updated on String Confirmation Day to reflect any changes to the list of contention sets resulting from the String Replacement Period.
The Contention Sets page goes live on APS after the completion of the String Evaluation stage, which includes Singular/Plural Notification Evaluation and String Similarity Evaluation. It will then be updated on a regular basis to reflect changes in contention set statuses as a result of:
- The resolution of String Confusion Objections;
- Objection/Appeal proceedings for applications;
- Successful .Brand String Change requests; or,
- Contention resolution mechanisms.
