I submitted my replacement string attestation in TAMS. Why is my unchosen application still showing as active?

After submitting your replacement string attestation, the application records for both your original applied-for string and your replacement string may still appear active in the system. To see each application's status, in TAMS, open the application and view the banner indicating its current status.

Important: If an applicant submits the Replacement String Attestation in TAMS, that selection is permanent and irreversible. Under no circumstances can applicants change their selection.

If an applicant does not submit their Replacement String Attestation within the replacement period, the applicant will proceed with their original applied-for string.
