Applications with a designated replacement string will be listed as two application records on APS (one for the original applied-for string and one for the replacement string), but will count as a single application on the Statistics tab. Replacement string applications are indicated with an -R after the original application ID.
After String Confirmation Day, application records for strings that are not selected will have the status "Deactivated."
