If I am an existing gTLD registry operator and also am a successful applicant for a new TLD in the New gTLD Program: 2026 Round, am I required to amend my existing agreement to take on the 2026 Base RA form?

No.

Note however, if an existing registry operator applies for allocatable variant strings of an existing gTLD in the New gTLD Program: 2026 Round and is approved, it must transition to the 2026 Base RA.
