While there is no appeal or challenge mechanism available for background screening, if an applicant is found not to meet the criteria for background screening, the applicant may request Extended Evaluation. As part of Extended Evaluation, the background screening Provider may issue additional clarifying questions or request additional information to facilitate additional analysis to determine final results. If those responses do not satisfy the background screening criteria, the applicant will not pass background screening.
