The DNS Stability Review ensures that applied-for gTLD strings do not harm the security or stability of the Domain Name System (DNS). This review checks whether the string meets technical requirements, such as correct formatting for ASCII and Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs), and compliance with Root Zone Label Generation Rules (RZ-LGR). Applications cannot proceed unless these checks are passed.
