A material change is a change that could significantly affect the application, other applicants, evaluation outcomes, contention sets, or the broader application process. Specifically, a material change will likely change the status of an application or change the outcome of an evaluation of an application. Material changes would trigger additional steps, including application comment periods and possible re-evaluations.
