Notes:
1 Status of the program:
- ICANN org opened the RSP Pre-Evaluation application submission period from 19 November 2024 to 20 May 2025.
- ICANN org re-opened the RSP Evaluation Program application submission period in parallel with the gTLD application submission period from 30 April 2026 to 12 August 2026.
2 Dependent on the organization clearing evaluation for Main RSP.
Organizations:
- The sum of the App.1, App.2, App.3 and App.4 metrics represents the total number of active organizations in the system.
- An organization can only exist in one of the metrics App.1, App.2, App.3 or App.4.
- The metric App.5 is a subset of App.4.
- The report for this month may show a lower number of active organizations in the system from the previous month, because the RSP Evaluation Program Pre-Evaluation period closed on 20 May 2025 and organizations that did not submit initial organization information, submitted initial organization information but abandoned the application, or decided to withdraw its application were deactivated.
Applications:
- The sum of the metrics *.1, *.2, *.3 and *.4 represents the total number of applications in the system for that type of application.
- An application can only exist in one of the metrics *.1, *.2, *.3 or *.4 for that type of application.
- In the case of MAIN, DNS, DNSSEC and PROXY types of applications, the metric *.2 also includes applications in extended evaluation.
- An application in the metric *.4 is in a terminal status and includes applications that did not clear evaluation.
Note: within this statistics, clearing evaluation is defined as clearing both technical screening and testing. More information about the list of evaluated RSPs may be found in the following blog post.
