The Service Disruption questions (i.e., MAIN. 12.8, DNS. 8.8, DNSSEC. 6.8 and PROXY. 9.7) ask for a list of all service disruptions related to the critical functions listed in section 6 of Specification 10 of the ICANN Registry Agreement (version 2024) that are provided by the type of RSP. For example, a Main RSP provides the following critical functions: EPP, RDDS and Data Escrow. At a minimum the RSP applicant should list service disruptions that went beyond the Emergency Threshold defined in section 6 of Specification 10 of the Base RA, but the RSP applicant may provide other disruptions that have occurred.

The list should include, as a minimum, the critical function affected, the date and time it occurred, the duration, the name(s) (i.e., string, and in the case of IDNs please use the A-label) of the gTLD(s) affected and an explanatory note.

As explained in Specification 10 of the Base RA: there is no provision for planned outages or similar periods of unavailable or slow service; any downtime, be it for maintenance or due to system failures, will be noted simply as downtime and counted for SLR measurement purposes.
