Certain validations on the applied-for gTLD strings are automatically implemented via TAMS. Specifically, the system performs automatic checks for:
- Blocked Names – Applications cannot proceed for these strings.
- Reserved Names – Applications can only proceed if applicants provide documentation to prove that they are the entities for which the names are reserved.
- DNS Stability – Strings must meet technical requirements to ensure DNS security and stability.
