What is an Application Change Request (ACR)?

Last Updated: July 2026

An Application Change Request (ACR) is the process that allows an applicant to update or change information in a new gTLD application that has already been submitted. Changes may include correcting inaccurate or outdated information, updating organizational details, requesting changes to certain parts of the application, or others. All ACRs are reviewed and must be approved by ICANN.
